The first encounter of Jewish Singles Event was an excellent opportunity to meet and share with people of all ages and different countries. No one should miss this magnificient experience of four days in which we enjoyed being in one of the most beautiful islands of Venezuela and the world. "The Event was a great opportunity to "really" meet Jewish people from other countries and Venezuela, sharing beautiful experiences among us. We had a great time together and though the group was heterogeneous in terms of ages and interests. Each of the participants had a unique chance to share time and integrate with others. The idea of spending a few days together was nice because gave us the chance to meet people in different ( some times very spicy ) circumstances. Keep doing it!".

"What could I tell you? For me it was fabulous. First arriving and meeting the people, you, the hotel. This experience of going alone and meet with people that I didn´t see in my whole entirey life... but at the same time with the security and trust, that was going to be an Event of the Jewish Community, gave me the courage and the faith to make it. I am not regret of it! The Event was very well organized, great chemistry between the people, and we got since the first day all the afection from the organizers Amy, Juan José and his team.... the attention that they demonstrated over all the Event, simply was extraordinary!. “ This one is for you-Joelle”, this message was sent by a good friend about a Jewish singles trip to Venezuela. Little did he know how right he was! American singles trips help no interest for me whatsoever. This sounded like it could be different.
First, the trip organizer Amy, was warm and helpful especially in light of the fact that I called her on her cell phone just 3 days before the event to see if I could attend. Her first words to me were “Don’t worry, you are coming” and true to her word, managed to organize everything for me and make me feel right at home immediately.
What can I say about the Latin people? I went alone, not knowing a soul on this trip and not knowing what to expect. The Latin people are so warm, open and caring. I was never alone from the minute I set foot in the country. Men and women alike on the trip took me in, made me feel at home and connected so that I actually never felt alone. I had meaningful conversations with many different people from different Latin countries and became friends with people with whom I hope to continue a friendship outside of the trip.
I really felt a connection with the group and with the culture!
So now for the good stuff: The event was help in a all inclusive resort on the beach.The trip was well planned with daily excursions to beautiful locations, yet it was easy going and left a lot of free time to do as you pleased. Nights were normally a candle light buffet dinner either poolside or on the beach, followed by Hot and sweaty Latin dancing which everyone joined, regardless of age or nationality, everyone got on that dance floor and had fun!
On the Jewish front- Pepe, our link to the Jewish connection, made sure we had a beautiful Shabbat services and dinner that first night, and kept the Jewish feeling close without making it feel forced.
I came home feeling relaxed, happy and connected to my new found friends. My feet have not stopped moving to the beat of salsa music since. Watch out compañeros, at next year’s event, this gringa will be dancing with you just like a Latina!

El evento judío de solteros y divorciados Mayo 2005 en Margarita fue todo un éxito. Asistieron 54 personas con los cuales la pasamos de maravilla y nos divertimos mucho, conocimos gente nueva e hicimos nuevos amigos.
La verdad que pase un fin de semana inolvidable en mi historia, compartí con gente que jamás me imagine que iba a compartir, fue toda una aventura. Bailamos, cantamos, comimos, bebimos, otros compraron y sobre todo hicimos unos paseos espectaculares a las playas, tuvimos actividades y fiestas privadas donde vivimos momentos muy bonitos e inolvidables. El trato que tuvieron con nosotros fue muy especial: organizadores, animadores y la gente que conformaba el Hotel "Portofino" donde nos quedamos. También me gustaría felicitar a una de las organizadoras del evento, Amy Solomovitz, por haber hecho tan reconocido esfuerzo para que nuestra estadía en el evento sea lo mas agradable posible y nos divirtiéramos al máximo. La verdad es que recomiendo mucho a todos aquellos judíos del mundo que no han participado en estos eventos, que no lo piensen dos veces y se animen a hacerlo para el próximo, la intención es venir a divertirse, descansar y conocer gente nueva, hacer amistades nuevas que perduren en el tiempo y si consigues tu pareja mejor aún ... No solamente es decidirse a venir, es decidirse a venir con muchas ganas y optimismo.
Muchísimas gracias por haberme hecho pasar un fin de semana diferente en mi vida. Valió la pena.

Me llamo Jacqueline Frewa, tengo 26 años y soy odontologa. He asistido a dos eventos de singles en la Isla de Margarita, uno el año pasado y otro este año en el mes de mayo. Mi experiencia en el evento fue excelente, desde un principio estuve convencida de ir al evento porque sabia que tenía la oportunidad de conocer mucha gente y de hacer nuevas amistades y así fue La verdad cumpli mis expectativas tanto de pasarla bien como de conocer a mucha gente tanto de Venezuela como de otros paIses. Le recomiendo a toda persona que tenga la oportunidad de asistir a un evento asi que lo haga porque es una excelente oportunidad de conocer gente y de conocer a esa persona especial que uno quiere encontrar en un viaje de singles. Yo la encontré, por eso se los recomiendo. No duden de asistir.

Con respecto al evento Maragarita 2005, quiero felicitar a los organizadores Amy Solomovitz, Hebraica CSD, y Hassan International por su paciencia y la buena voluntad que manifestaron en todo momento durante la realizacion del encuentro. Me gusto mucho el que incluyeran playas tan bonitas como Coche, Cabo negro e Isla La Propia. En general el encuentro me agrado porque conoci mucha gente agradable y sincera de varios países.
Los grupos musicales estuvieron excelentes.
